The folks in Shrewsbury are set for another summer of chilling out to music.
Shrewsbrew is back for a third season, where local musicians share their talents with the community on the second Tuesday of each month through the summer, beginning June 9.
From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., performances will take place at the Shrewsbury Community Hall.
Organizers call it an amateur open-mic night in a relaxed atmosphere. Each evening offers a variety of string, wind, percussion and vocal styles. All ages and all styles of performance art is welcome.
Artists are asked to email [email protected] with their contact information, talent descriptions, any needs, and if they have a preferred night.
“ Come join the fun, get valuable experience and meet other artists and an appreciative audience,” organizers said in a media release. “If the weather is nice, bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music while watching a sunset or reading a book.”
