This 50/50 draw is just revving up.
We’re talking about the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHAF) and its launch of the Igniting Healthcare Retro 50/50.
It’s on from now until June 25.
This year’s campaign partners with RetroFest as the festival’s official 50/50 partner, bringing together one of the region’s favourite fundraising campaigns and one of Chatham-Kent’s most anticipated annual events, organizers said in a media release.
The Igniting Healthcare 50/50 has generated more than $2 million in total ticket sales to date while supporting crucial health-care needs at CKHA’s Chatham and Wallaceburg sites.
“We’re proud to partner with RetroFest 2026 as the official 50/50 partner,” said Christine Mitchell, President and CEO of CKHAF, in a media release. “Events like RetroFest bring our community together and celebrate everything that makes Chatham-Kent special. We’re always excited for opportunities to be part of moments like this while also supporting local healthcare. Every ticket purchased helps strengthen care close to home for patients and families across our community.”
Tickets are available online now at www.ignite5050.ca and will also be sold throughout RetroFest weekend on May 22 and 23 in downtown Chatham.
In-person ticket purchases are also available at the Foundation office in Chatham during regular business hours, Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and at the Foundation office at CKHA’s Wallaceburg site on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Proceeds from the Igniting Healthcare Retro 50/50 will support the highest priority needs at CKHA, including critical medical equipment, patient care technology, and facility upgrades across both hospital sites.
In addition to the growing grand prize jackpot, the campaign will feature weekly Retro Reward Early Bird Draws every Wednesday throughout the campaign, excluding the day before the Grand Prize draw. Each Retro Reward Draw will award a $500 prize.
Ticket packages include five numbers for $10, 20 numbers for $20, 150 numbers for $50, and 500 numbers for $100.
The grand prize draw will take place on June 25.
