Police arrested one man after someone rummaged through a number of vehicles on Sylvester Drive in Chatham Tuesday night.
The incident took place around 11 p.m. Police arrived and located the accused. There was a brief struggle, but they took their suspect into custody.
A 53-year-old man is charged with theft, possession of stolen property, trespassing at night and obstructing a peace officer.
