A man assaulted a 65-year-old woman, police say. Officers learned there were historic assaults involved.
As a result, a 64-year-old Wallaceburg man is charged with assault, four counts of uttering threats to cause death, and assault by choking, strangling or suffocating.
Pay the delivery person!
The delivery driver did his job, but police say the package recipient didn’t do theirs.
On Wednesday evening, police were called to investigate a theft from a business on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
Except the theft didn’t take place there. Police say a delivery driver from the business went to a Birchwood Street address with an online order. The customer took the item, but closed the door on the driver without paying for the delivery.
A 23-year-old Chatham man is charged with theft and possession of stolen property.
