It’s time once again for the Friends of Chatham Gathering.
The annual event, now in its seventh year, will take place at the KBD Club in Chatham on March 7.
Founded by life-long friends Mike Dorner, Howie Morton and Ray O’Phee, the free gathering is open to Chathamites from far and wide.
The trio decided to put the event together after they kept running into each other at funerals and celebrations of life. They came up with the idea of meeting up at least once a year on a positive note, and the Friends of Chatham Gathering was born.
The free event is open to anyone; however, organizers will be collecting donations for Chatham-Kent Hospice. Raffles, draws and live music will be also be featured.
The KBD Club is located at 34 Byng Ave. in Chatham. The event begins at noon.
