Five people face chargers after police learned multiple people were inside an unoccupied home in Wallaceburg.
Police went to the King Street residence Monday afternoon and saw several people leave, with a few trying to flee on foot, but they were tracked down and arrested.
Charged with being unlawfully in a dwelling are a Wallaceburg man, 47, and four people listed as being from Chatham-Kent: One woman, 32, and three men, 37, 50 and 28.
Another Wallaceburg man, 59, was released at the scene with conditions, police say.
