The Kiwanis Theatre is going retro on Feb. 8.
The theatre hosts Canadian group The Dreamboats.
“Dive into a musical time machine with The Dreamboats as they bring back the magic of classic, original rock ’n’ roll,” theatre officials said in a media release. “Infusing the timeless sounds of the ’50s and ’60s with a fresh, contemporary energy, this Canadian quartet promises an evening of non-stop dancing, nostalgic melodies, and electrifying entertainment.”
Music from the likes of Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly and the Wonders will be performed.
This is a re‑launch of the Presenting Season for the Kiwanis Theatre. Officials said it signals a renewed commitment to showcasing diverse, high‑quality performances at the theatre.
“The Dreamboats bring an energy and nostalgia that perfectly captures the spirit of this new season,” said theatre manager Devon Hansen in a news release. “The Dreamboats’ vibrant, feel‑good show sets the perfect tone for a season built on connection, creativity, and the joy of live entertainment.”
