A Chatham woman faces charges after police say she used bear spray on a man who was coming after her in a fit of road rage on Saturday afternoon.
A dispute between drivers resulted in a 27-year-old Chatham man following the other driver to a residence on Park Street in Chatham. He approached the vehicle when the other driver sprayed him in the face with what he believed to be bear spray, police say.
The victim retreated to his vehicle. Additional medical assistance was required.
Through further investigation, officers located the accused.
A Chatham woman, 19, is charged with assault with a weapon.
