A portion of Base Line is about to be shut down from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day for the better part of a week.
The road will be closed in both directions between Prince Albert Road and Fraser Road from Nov. 13 to Nov. 19.
Municipal officials said the closure is due to work taking place at the Hydro One substation on Base Line.
All lanes will be reopened at the end of each workday. Weekend work is not scheduled.
Local traffic will have access up to the work zone, and access to all properties will be maintained.
