In a case of being caught red handed, Chatham-Kent police say officers sent to check on a break in Tuesday night caught the suspects inside.
Police were called about 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday evening to a residence on Baxter Street in Chatham.
They checked the exterior and found signs the home had been entered illegally.
When the officers went inside to investigate further, they found two men inside.
A 38-year-old Chatham man and a 41-year-old man of no fixed address are charged with break and enter with intent.
