A Chatham-Kent man faces charges in the wake of a family dispute that turned physical Wednesday evening.
Police were called to a Wellington Street address in Wallaceburg shortly after 9 p.m.
Officers learned a family dispute, that began as an argument, ended violently, police say.
Police say the suspect used a weapon, threatened the victim, a 48-year-old man, and then left.
Officers located the suspect on West Court in Wallaceburg and made their arrest.
A 20-year-old man is charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and uttering threats to cause bodily harm.
