A Chatham man is facing impaired driving charges after someone got into an accident Wednesday night and fled the scene, police say.
The crash took place shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Forest Street in Chatham. Police say a vehicle hit a parked car and overturned.
The driver, police say, fled the scene on foot.
Officers were able to identify the suspect and made their arrest.
A 29-year-old Chatham man is charged with impaired driving and failing to remain at the scene of the crash.
