
A local man faces numerous charges after an argument on Tuesday afternoon.
Police got the call about 4:45 p.m. to an address on Talbot Trail in Cedar Springs over a report of threats being made.
Upon arrival, officers located the accused. Investigations revealed that the individual had made verbal threats to a 50-year-old victim from Raleigh Township. It was also determined that the accused is also bound by a probation order with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
During a search of the individual, officers located a weapon. The accused is also currently prohibited from possessing firearms, police say.
A 32-year-old Chatham-Kent man is charged with uttering threats, failing to comply with his probation conditions and possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.
