
Police continue to investigate a two-vehicle collision on Highway 40 that took place Wednesday afternoon.
The crash saw six people taken to hospital, and took place about 3:45 p.m.
The incident forced the closure of the highway for several hours.
One person, 80, suffered serious, life-threatening injuries in the crash.
Another, 87, the driver in the same vehicle is in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, there were four people in the second vehicle. The driver, 67, and three passengers, aged 41, 19 and 14, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
