And…he’s out again

Do you want someone who is facing nearly a dozen charges, as well as having a history of ignoring court orders, according to the police, wandering your neighbourhood?

Well, Chatham-Kent police scooped him up and the courts let him go…with a future court date…recently.

On Friday evening, officers spotted a man known to them and, apparently, he knew the officers, because police say he bolted into a Princess Street residence in Chatham.

Officers pursued. The man went out a window and the foot chase was on…until it wasn’t.

A 35-year-old man of no fixed address is charged with failing to comply, trespass at night, possession of stolen credit card data, fraud, use of stolen credit card data, three counts of theft, and three counts of possession of stolen property,

Police say, due to his history of failing to comply with court orders they held him for bail.

At that hearing, the judge released him with conditions and a future court date.
