Dan Hanson braved the heat recently to put a new coat of paint on the fence at his Elgin Street home in Wallaceburg.
Hanson recently retired and moved to Wallaceburg from the Niagara area.
He was an employee at Andrew Peller Estates, where one of his jobs was maintaining the famous ice-skating rink at the Wayne Gretzky winery.
