Local Sikhs took part recently in a celebration of Nagar Kirtan with a parade through part of Chatham.
All festivals in Sikh religion are celebrated as per Nanakshahi Calendar.
The parade ended at the soccer fields and pavilion near the courthouse where there was a food and religious celebration.
