A Chatham man faces a number of charges in the wake of an investigation by Chatham-Kent police into intimate-partner-violence allegations.
Police say the alleged victim, a 39-year-old Chatham woman, called police Sunday afternoon to report a domestic incident.
Officers arrested her spouse that afternoon.
As a result, a 36-year-old Chatham man is charged with two counts of assault, uttering threats, and mischief.
