Evening break-in in Daylight Point

Someone broke into a garage on Daylight Point in Chatham recently, making off with an estimated $5,000 in tools and fishing equipment.

Police say the theft took place sometime Tuesday evening or early Wednesday morning.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Const. Daniel Chan at danielch@chatham-kent.ca or 519-436-6600. Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.

Durango goes missing

Chatham-Kent police are asking the public to help them find a vehicle that vanished overnight Wednesday in Wallaceburg.

Someone stole a white Dodge Durango from a property on Old Glass Road in Wallaceburg.

Police say the vehicle was left unlocked.
