Christina Mel and Angelo Ligori are two new members of the CKHA board.

There are two new faces among the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s board of directors, as Angelo Ligori and Christina Mel have joined.

The two got their feet wet at the Oct. 5 meeting.

Ligori, who was born in Italy and grew up in the Leamington area, moved to Chatham in 2005 as part of the Greenfield Global team.

After leaving the post of plant manager, Ligori stayed on as a business development advisor before his retirement last year.

Mel, a Wallaceburg native, is the general manager of a retirement residence.

She has sat on various health-care committees over the years.
