One of the drivers in an Oct. 4 collision on Bloomfield Road south of Chatham has died.
The crash took place on the morning of Oct. 4 between Fourteenth and Fifteenth Line. One of the vehicles crashed into the rear of the other, resulting in the rear vehicle going into the ditch.
Both occupants of that vehicle were taken to hospital. The driver has since perished.
Police say the name of this individual will not be released out of respect for the family’s privacy.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service continues to actively investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
