The Chatham-Kent Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male in a counterfeit and fraud investigation.
On Aug. 26, a man went into the Esso Gas Station on Bloomfield Road in Chatham. He picked a number of items and then paid for them using a counterfeit $100 Canadian bill, police say.
The male made a total of four separate transactions at this location, all using a counterfeit $100 bill.
