At 1:40 p.m. on Thursday, Chatham-Kent police arrived at a residence on Keil Drive in Chatham about a call where the homeowner complained of a break in.
The unknown suspect apparently forced their way into a residence under construction and stole equipment worth about $200.

Police were called for another break in on Thursday at 1:50 p.m.. It took place on Middle Line in Blenheim. At some point between June 5 and Oct. 27, someone forced their way in and stole building materials from a residence that is under renovation.

Drunk in public
Police received a report of an unwanted person in a residence around 4:45 a.m. Frideay morning on Churchill Street in Chatham. Apparently for a second time.
Police say officers arrested a 26-year-old woman for her own safety.
She was charged with being intoxicated in public.
