CK Public Health’s mass vaccination efforts against COVID-19 will soon come to an end, leaving pharmacies as the best option for local residents.
Public Health’s final vaccination clinics take place Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, and on May 31 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at their clinic at 730 Richmond St. in Chatham.
“Most pharmacies book appointments ahead of time and some allow walk-ins as well,” Alyssa Bunning, a manager with CK Public Health, said in a media release. “It’s a very convenient option for our local residents and one we encourage using.”
Those looking to book their vaccine through a local pharmacy can find full details about a specific location online at www.covid-19.ontario.ca/vaccine-locations or by calling their local pharmacy directly.
CK Public Health will still be offering COVID-19 protection through various community pop-up clinics across Chatham-Kent.
Pop-up clinics currently available for both booking and walk-ins, include the Active Lifestyle Centre at 20 Merritt Ave. in Chatham on June 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Salvation Army at 46 Orangewood Blvd, in Chatham on June 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A number of additional pop-up clinics are awaiting finalization, and information will be available at www.CKPublicHealth.com/Clinics and can be found by following @CKPublicHealth on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter or by calling 519-351-1010.
