CK Public Health officials report no additional COVID-19 deaths over the weekend, with other COVID numbers continuing to slide for the most part.
Two group homes and three seniors’ facilities remain in outbreak, while the seven-day rolling average of new reported cases is down to 31.
Meanwhile, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, one number that has not dropped is the number of people in the ICU with COVID-19. There are now five people in the intensive care unit with the illness.
However, there are 12 people in hospital primarily for COVID-19, with an even split of six each being vaccinated and unvaccinated.
