Break and enter

Yesterday morning around 6 a.m., someone entered a commercial property on Victoria Avenue in Chatham, causing about $5,000 damage.

Police continue to work with the business owners to determine what, if anything, was stolen.

E-bike stolen

Sometime last night around 7 p.m., someone stole a red Daymak e-bike from an apartment complex on McNaughton Avenue West.

Total value of the theft has been estimated at $1,500.

Careless driving

Yesterday morning, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Coatsworth Road near Talbot Trail.

Minor injuries were reported. Total damage was estimated at $10,000.

The driver, a 19-year-old Howard Township man, was charged with careless driving.
