Door crasher

Around 1:30 a.m. this morning, Chatham-Kent police responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Chatham.

Through investigation, police learned that during an argument, the man broke the woman’s front door.

A 34-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with mischief.

Golf cart stolen

Sometime between Thursday and Sunday, someone entered a garage on Main Street West in Ridgetown and stole a white Yamaha golf cart, along with miscellaneous tools.

Total value of the theft has been estimated at $2,500.

Stolen bikes

Sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, someone entered a garage on West Street and stole:

  • Norco bicycle – blue and white with an oversized seat
  • Norco bicycle – black and white
  • Schwinn bicycle – grey with thin bars
  • Schwinn bicycle – black and white
  • Supercycle mountain bike – burgundy with a missing right pedal
  • Air compressor – green
  • Two black plastic tool boxes with various hand tools
  • A pair of black and red Reebok shoes, men’s size 11

Total value of the theft has been estimated at $2200.

Theft from garage

Sometime on Saturday between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., someone entered a garage on Sylvester Drive and stole a red, black and white Trek bicycle and a blue and orange fishing tackle box.

Total value of the theft has been estimated at $1,000.
