Dresden drug bust sees four arrested

Last night, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Unit, with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence and trailer on Brown Street in Dresden.  Not a lot of drugs were seized, as approximately $1,500 worth of suspected methamphetamine, Percocet’s and LSD was seized.

However, digital scales, a crossbow, ammunition and Canadian currency were also seized.

Four people face charges; three Dresden men, aged 38, 37, and 34, and a woman, 27, of no fixed address.

The 34-year-old man is charged with three counts of drug possession, two counts of possession of a crossbow contrary to a prohibition order, two counts of possession of ammunition contrary to a prohibition order and four counts of failing to comply with his probation order.

The 37-year-old man is charged with three counts of drug possession and four counts of failing to comply with his probation order.

The woman is charged with three counts of drug possession, possession of a crossbow contrary to a prohibition order and possession of ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.

The 38-year-old man is charged with three counts of drug possession.
