The former site of Navistar, left vacant for years, is in new, local hands.
That according to Mayor Darrin Canniff in a social media post Tuesday.
“For a number of years, the previous site of Navistar on Richmond Street in Chatham has been vacant. I am thrilled to announce that today the property was officially purchased by local business people. We’re looking forward to hearing about the plans for the development in the coming weeks,” Canniff said on social media.
