Who the heck are you?
Yesterday afternoon, Chatham-Kent police responded to the report of an intoxicated man sleeping in the passenger seat of a vehicle parked on Fourth Street in Chatham. The owner of the vehicle did not recognize the man.
A 50-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with being intoxicated in a public place. He was released when sober.
Youth faces assault charges
Late yesterday afternoon, Chatham-Kent police responded to a disturbance in Dover Township.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged with assault and mischief.
Tools stolen
Sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning, someone entered an unlocked barn on Aberdeen Street in Merlin and stole $2,500 worth of DeWalt tools.

Fender benders
Last night, police responded to a three-vehicle collision on Winterline Road near W. Lewis Line.
Minor injuries were reported.
Total damage was estimated at $20,000.
A 31-year-old Wallaceburg man was charged with careless driving.

Last night, police responded to a two-vehicle collision on North Street near Sydenham Street in Dresden.
No one was injured.
The driver at fault was charged with making an unsafe move.

Failing to comply
Last night, police located a man in Chatham who was wanted for failing to comply with his release conditions.
A 43-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Shortly after 4 a.m. this morning, an officer on general patrol this morning in Wallaceburg observed a man in the area of Albert Street and King Street, breaching his curfew.
A 26-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with failing to comply with his release conditions. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
