Dreaming Out Loud kept his record perfect at 6-0 and pushed his earnings to $21,050 by winning the $16,200 Mark Austin Pacing Series Final on the weekend.

Macharita and Mike Whelan blasted off the gate for a quick five-length advantage at the quarter in 27.4 and led past the half in 58.1 and three quarters in 1:28.2 before Tyler Borth tipped Dreaming Out Loud three deep down the stretch for the victory in 1:59.1.

Mr. Cheeseman and Lorne House charged up for second while Macharita held on for third.

“He’s a real nice colt,” said co-owner/trainer Keith Cullen in a media release. “He catches on very quickly and works so hard.”

Cullen added, “A lot of credit goes to my wife Marilyn, she worked with his mother, Sammartha Stewart, and she does a great job working with him.”

The three-year-old Thinking Out Loud colt is also owned by Chris Cain.

The Loan Ranger went wire-to-wire to win the Ken Houston Memorial Pace for driver Marc St Louis. The seven year old Up The Credit gelding set fractions of 29.3, 59.4, 1:29.4 for a mile time of 1:58.4, Don and Heather McGregor while Peter Core is the conditioner.

The off-track handle was $24,050.
