The board of directors for the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) has a new director.
At its annual meeting Thursday, the volunteer board welcomed new member Kit Moore.
Moore is a resident of Chatham and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor. He is a practicing chartered professional accountant (CPA, CA) with an In Depth Tax Specialization from CPA Canada.
He founded and operates two practices in Chatham-Kent, including BluePrint CPAs, a strategy and tax advisory firm, as well as FarmGate Advisors Inc., a rural tax and bookkeeping practice.
“We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Moore to our board of directors and look forward to working with him,” Greg Aarssen, board chair, said in a media release. “His knowledge and skill set will be a great addition to our governance and guiding CKHA in its delivery of safe, high-quality care.”
On top of the addition of more, Moore, the following individuals’ terms were renewed for a three-year term: Dan Miskokomon, Jack Carroll and Stephanie Dries.
Following the annual meeting, the board appointed its Officers and Committee Chairs as follows:
