The Chatham-Kent Police responded to 223 calls for service in the last 24 hours.
Break and Enter: A shed on Talbot Trail, Romney was broken into Friday at 4 a.m. A tool box with miscellaneous items was taken, approximating a value of $500, plus a 16 horsepower Swift riding lawn mower (orange & grey), 42” deck, valued at $1000.

Bail Violation:
On Friday, a 56-year-old Chatham man was located on McNaughton Ave., Chatham, violating conditions of his release, which stipulated he could not be outside of his residence. The male was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he is held pending a bail hearing.
Later, a 52-year-old Chatham man was located breaching his recognizance on King St. East, Chatham. He was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he is held pending a bail hearing.
Warrant: A 26 year old Chatham man was arrested by Woodstock Police Service on Saturday, on the strength of several Chatham-Kent Police warrants. He was returned to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing.
