Sometime between May 16 and May 19, someone broke the lock on a shed to gain entry.

A red Torro self-propelled lawnmower was stolen. It has since been recovered.

Fail to comply

A 30-year-old Chatham man has been arrested and charged for failing to comply with release order.

The man was released from custody on May 13 with several conditions. One of the conditions that he was to abide to was to abstain from communications directly or indirectly with a female party.

On May 19, police say the male was found to be in the company of the female.

Through investigation, it was determined that he was also breaching an order to reside at a specific address and that he was on house arrest.

The man has been held pending a bail hearing.

Fail to comply

The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman for failing to comply with a release order.

A 29-year-old Chatham woman has been charged for failing to abstain from communicating with a male party directly or indirectly after a report of a suspicious male and female was received.

She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
