After hearing about the May 16 Miracle initiative, the Chatham-Kent Police Service wanted to do their part to make it happen.

Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Association, Chatham-Kent Police Services Board and senior administration presented a cheque for $2500 to the Miracle Day Food Drive in an effort to kick-start the event.

In addition, several members of the Chatham-Kent Police family will be volunteering their time to collect donations on Saturday.
