Men Charged with Weapon Offences
On Wednesday morning, police responded to the report of people with weapons in the area of a home on Duke Street in Wallaceburg. The suspects fled prior to police arrival.
Later that day, OPP responded to a single motor collision on Bentpath Line in St. Clair Township. The individuals from this collision were apprehended for investigative purposes.
Three men, two from Sarnia and one from Petrolia, have been charged with weapon related offences. They were released pending a future court date of June 16, 2020.

Man Charged with Assault Police
Last night, police responded to the report of an unwanted man at a residence on King Street in Chatham. When officers asked the man to leave, he became agitated and tried to push an officer down a set of stairs. The man continued to resist arrest, however was taken into custody.
As officers suspected the man was under the influence of illicit drugs, he was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical attention. While receiving treatment, the man was found to be concealing suspected cocaine in his underwear.
Once medically cleared, the 24-year-old Chatham man was charged with assaulting a peace officer, resisting arrest and drug possession. He was released pending a future court of June 23, 2020.
Man Charged with Uttering Threats
Yesterday afternoon, a woman reported to police that she had received a threatening text message from her ex-boyfriend.
Officers located the man and he was arrested. The 27-year-old Blenheim man was charged with uttering threats. He was released pending a future court date of June 16, 2020.
Youth Charged with Weapon Offences
Last night, police received information that a youth, while in possession of a knife, asked two girls, in a threatening manner, to assist him in committing a criminal offence against another person. The girls tried to get the knife away from the boy, but he fled the area.
Through investigation, police learned that the youth was currently bound by conditions not to possess any weapons or communicate with the two girls.
Early this morning, police located the male youth. The 14-year-old Chatham boy was arrested and charged with being in possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of uttering threats, two counts of assault with a weapon and three counts of failing to comply with his release conditions. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Man Charged with Domestic Related Offences
Last night, police received information about current and historical domestic related incidents between a couple in Chatham dating back to 2018.
The 50-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with several domestic related offences. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Traffic Stop leads to Charges
Last night, an officer on general patrol observed a vehicle travelling southbound on Pond Road near McCreary Line in Wallaceburg. A query of the license plates revealed that they were not registered to that vehicle.
The officer initiated a traffic stop and learned that the driver was currently suspended for unpaid fines and prohibited from driving.
The woman was arrested and found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
Carley Phair, 32, of Blenheim, has been charged with using plates not authorized for the vehicle, driving while under suspension, operating a motor vehicle while prohibited and possession for the purposes of trafficking.
Her vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for 45 days as per the Vehicle Impoundment Program. She was released pending a future court date of June 24, 2020.
Stolen ATV in Chatham Township
Sometime between March 28 and yesterday, unknown suspect(s) stole a green 2008 Arctic Cat 366 4×4 ATV from a barn on Langstaff Line. Total value of the theft has been estimated at $4000.
