Participants at the Zonta Says No To Violence Against Women rally on Nov. 25 were joined this year by OPP and Chatham-Kent police along the Third Street Bridge to help raise awareness about gender-based violence and to help end it.
In its seventh year, demonstrators dressed in purple and orange spent a half hour walking along the bridge during the high traffic lunch hour to bring light to the worldwide issue of violence against women.
