Chatham-Kent police say someone tried to get into AgMedica’s building on Riverview Drive in Chatham early Monday morning.

Police say a surveillance video shows a man entering the property early Monday morning through a hole in the fence.

Investigation led officers to a suspect and he was arrested Wednesday morning.

A 38-year-old man of no fixed address is charged with break and enter.

Meanwhile, sometime overnight Tuesday or early Wednesday, someone stole a Postma Fitness sign that was left on the sidewalk in front of the Talbot Street West business in Blenheim.

But police say the power of social media led to the sign showing back up at the business late yesterday afternoon.

Thieves were busy recently in Wallaceburg.

Sometime overnight Tuesday to Wednesday, thieves hit three spots.

They broke into a shed on Bruce Street and stole a power washer, electric chainsaw, electric clippers and frozen meat. Total value of the theft is estimated at $1,200.
