The holiday weekend ended on a sad note Monday, as a man died on our roadways.
Chatham-Kent police say a 66-year-old Wheatley man perished in a crash on Third Concession Line near Zion Road northeast of Wheatley Monday afternoon, shortly before 4 p.m.
Police say it was a single-vehicle crash.
