Chatham-Kent police scooped up a pair of wanted suspects yesterday.
The first was a Wallaceburg woman wanted in connection with a shoplifting incident in at the Home Hardware in Dresden in March.
Police say a citizen spotted the woman, recognizing her from the police service’s wanted list, and called in to report she was outside a store in Wallaceburg yesterday afternoon.
Officers arrived and, following a short foot chase, took her into custody.
Investigation revealed the woman was also wanted by the OPP.
A 33-year-old Wallaceburg woman is now in the hands of the OPP and has a future court date to answer to the shoplifting charges.
Also yesterday, officers located a youth wanted for breaching his probation order, failing to attend for his fingerprints and failing to attend court.
A 17-year-old Tilbury youth has a future court date of June 24.
