More than five months after a break and enter in Blenheim, Chatham-Kent police say a man who lives more than 1,300 kilometres away turned himself in.

On Oct. 18 of last year, someone broke into a Sheldrick Street residence in Blenheim, stealing about $3,500 in tools and electronics.

Police recovered some of the stolen property and a warrant was issued for the man police believe was responsible for the crime.

Yesterday, a 25-year-old Thunder Bay man turned himself in at police headquarters. He’s charge with break and enter and possession of stolen property.
