The three-year-old boy mauled by two dogs Monday in Wallaceburg remains in hospital in Michigan, but his condition is improving.
On Monday afternoon at about 5 p.m., two young children were tobogganing at Jaycee Park on Larkwood Street with their babysitter. Two dogs escaped from a nearby home and attacked the youngest child, who is just three.
A GoFundMe page was started online for the child only yesterday, with a goal of $2,500 to help the family with expenses. In just 17 hours, it had raised close to $15,000, six times what was requested.
