Chatham-Kent police stopped a man out for a late-night bike ride last night, and 15 minutes later he was under arrest.
Police say an officer stopped the man about 11:30 p.m. in the area of Princess Street and Colborne Street Monday night, as the man didn’t have adequate lighting for the bike.
It turns out the bike was reported stolen.
By 11:45 p.m., a 28-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property
