Yesterday around 6:30 a.m., Chatham-Kent OPP were called to a complaint of an assault at the eastbound Tilbury ONroute Centre.
After investigating, officers determined that an altercation took place between three men outside the Onroute Centre. The victim, a 48-year-old male from Windsor, was treated and released from hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
As a result, a 26-year-old Windsor man has been charged with aggravated assault and a 27-year-old Windsor man has been charged with aggravated assault and breach of probation x 2.
Both charged persons are being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The OPP West Region Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Investigation Services Unit (FISU) were called to assist. The investigation is continuing.
