It had been quiet on the “vehicle-hits-building” news category in Chatham-Kent recently, until very early this morning.
Shortly after midnight, police got called to a fail to remain collision at the Subway on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg. Police say a black SUV hit the sub shop, causing about $5,000 in damage.
The SUV left the scene before police arrived.
