In the tradition of the Festival of Giving extravaganzas, Club Lentinas in hosting a Masquerade Ball Oct. 29, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation.
Olivia Lachapelle of Club Lentinas said they wanted a way to give back to the community and thought about Halloween and kids, coming up with the idea of a Masquerade Ball.
“We thought about having a masquerade ball and helping kids and thought the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation would be the perfect organization to work with,” Lachapelle said.
The event will feature prizes, a live auction with Greg Hetherington and a 50/50 raffle with items such as a signed T.J. Brodie jersey, a Shawn Suisham signed print, The Haunted Walk of Kingston with a two-night stay, Adele sheet music, a Harry Potter cast photo, dinner at Mama Maria’s and a Winter Package from Entegrus that includes an electric fireplace.
An elegant dinner menu is planned with entertainment from Windsor DJ Phat Boy Productions, who Lachapelle said has a playlist that will keep people on the dance floor all night.
For people who want to reserve an entire table, they can call Club Lentinas and make arrangements.
Dress for the event is formal wear, or “what you might wear to a wedding” and can include masks.
