A 54-year-old Merlin woman has ben charged with one count of arson as the result of a domestic dispute.
Chatham-Kent Police said just before midnight last night, a verbal argument began between the married couple at their residence in Merlin.
The dispute escalated and the woman allegedly set the residence on fire causing minor damage. Police were called and the woman was arrested.
She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
