Alcohol and an e-bike were not a good combo for a Chatham Township man.

Last night, around 9:45 p.m. police received information about a possible impaired driver.  An officer located the man at the intersection of McNaughton Avenue and Prince Albert Road.  The officer believed the man was driving his e-bike while under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.  The man was transported to police headquarters for breath tests.

A Chatham Township man has been charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.  He has been released pending a future court date of August 19.
