Thieves steal $60,000 worth of boat motors

Thieves made off with several boat motors after a break in at Maple City Marine in Chatham on the weekend.

Sometime between April 30 at 12:30 p.m. and May 2 at 9:00 a.m., someone broke into the fenced property of Maple City Marine on Grand Avenue East causing about $200 damage.

Once inside, the suspect(s) stole a 250HP outboard Yamaha motor, 200HP outboard Yamaha motor and 175HP outboard Yamaha motor.  Total value of the theft is estimated at $60,000.
