In Thursday’s story concerning the closure of the tourist information booth at RM Classic Cars, it was stated the municipality spent $15,000 staffing the booth last year.
That amount is the cost after admission revenue was included.
The actual amount spent in 2015 was $29,793 in employee and building related expenses.
Admission fees and miscellaneous revenue totalled $14,427.
The total expense to the municipality was $15,366.
Because it's not marketed. Perhaps once the industrial complex in Blenheim is up and running, and those 700 jobs create interest in seeing what Chatham-Kent has to offer…
